Dance Performance

Over the weekend I had a surprise 30th birthday party. There were quite a few young kids at the party, and their present to their dad was a dance performance they had arranged to the song Gangham Style! It was a neat performance and the kids absolutely loved being on the stage infront of everyone. The youngest guy was 3yrs old, and the oldest girls were 12yr old twins. The girls ran the show for the most part, but all of them were just as involved, it was really cute! I remember doing this same thing, although mostly just for fun rather than as a performance infront of a bunch of people.

  1. Ah, looking back at this kind of activity now, in this Fine Arts course, you have a new perspective about the value of the learning. From what you've observed about the engagement and joy of the children and the way they co-operated, you may have deeper convictions about why it is important to preserve and encourage this kind of creativity!
